The Maker’s Choice: Glassblowing

For the first time ever at Blackstone River Glass Center, we’re handing over the creative control. The Maker’s Choice is a limited-time glassblowing experience where each participant gets to choose their own adventure—no group debates, no compromises, no “fine, I guess I’ll make a bowl.” 😏

✨ Choose Your Project:
Pick the piece that speaks to you:

Vase, Bowl, or Cup – blown forms where you’ll introduce air and shape molten glass into a functional vessel
Bird, Flower, or Mushroom – solid sculpted forms, shaped and styled entirely by hand

Whether you’re into bold and functional or small and sculptural, you’ll be working one-on-one with our instructors in the hot shop to bring your vision to life.

Ages: 12+
Pricing: Varies based on the project you choose
Pickup: Your piece will be ready the following Wednesday at the earliest (glass needs its beauty sleep in the kiln)
