Four guest authors will be featured in public events as part of Salve Regina University’s exclusive creative writing degree program, The Newport MFA. While on campus, each author will host a public reading from their best-selling works. In addition, for the first time, Salve will make public two Craft Talks (lectures on writing technique) normally reserved for MFA students only. Jill Bialosky is an Executive Editor and Vice President of W. W. Norton & Company, and is the editor for Ann Hood’s books. The afternoon Craft Talk “A Conversation Between Writer and Editor,” features Bialosky and Hood talking about that relationship and taking questions from the audience.
