In collaboration with the University of Rhode Island Symphony, Concert Choir, U-Chorus, and singers from choral organizations across the Ocean State, WSO will present Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” featuring Norma Caiazza- soprano, Caroline O’Dwyer- mezzo, Kilian Mooney- tenor, and Rene de la Garza- baritone. Also programmed, “Nun Danket Alle Gott” by J.S. Bach, arranged for brass and percussion, and the premiere of “I Am With You” for Viola Ensemble in memory of Ernest Nordman by URI student composer Katherine Loo.
A second performance will be offered at 7:30 pm on Sunday, December 2 at 7:30 at St. Timothy’s Church (1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick 02889)
