WSO’s Mission
Warwick Symphony Orchestra (WSO) serves audiences and musicians by bringing classical and orchestral pops performances to communities across Rhode Island. As a regional volunteer symphony, the WSO seeks to deliver high-quality live music and affordable performances to diverse communities. WSO ensures accessibility and appeals to a wide-ranging audience of varied backgrounds through programming that seamlessly shifts between classical and orchestral pops.
WSO opens its 2024-2025 Season (No. 58) with a program of music inspired by cultures across the world. With the primary performance of Across the World to occur on Sunday - December 8, 2024 (3pm) at St. Bernard Church: Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown, WSO will present a modified program at the Providence Children’s Museum: South Street, Providence on Saturday - December 14, 2024 (11:45am) designed for young listeners and their families.
