*All season long* Head over to Yellow Kittens Tavern and you’re not just going to a favorite Island hangout, you’re stepping into a piece of history. A fixture on Corn Neck Road since 1876, Yellow Kittens comes in as the 97th oldest bar in the country. They must be doing something right to stay popular for well over a hundred years, and it all comes down to the big three — the drinks, dancing and people-watching are second to none.
From 11:30am to 7:30pm, you can stop over for some tasty Mexican food (and legendary frozen margaritas!) on the outside deck (Los Gatitos opens for the season on May 23, 2019.) But the real action gets going later in the evening, when the music kicks in and the dance floor gets crowded.
Yellow Kitten's has live music or DJ's every night, all summer so come on over, get down and get funky during your getaway.
