Early Georgian Style home of Dr. Joshua Babcock, Westerly's first physician, postmaster and a friend of Benjamin Franklin, who was a frequent visitor. Later owned by Orlando Smith, who in 1846 discovered granite on the property which later became one of the country's leading granite centers. Carriage house available to groups with bag lunches. Joshua's Store and Gift Shop.
