Dewey Cottage

Built in 1906, this farmhouse was renovated into a six-room guesthouse providing all of the comforts of a new building and the charm of an old country home. Each of the non-smoking six rooms features a private bath. The Dewey Cottage is a convenient walk to the Island’s restaurants, sandy beaches and charming shops and about 1/2 mile to the 1661 Inn. Located between New and Old Harbors, we are central to all that Block Island has to offer. Enjoy the full breakfast buffet at The 1661 Inn and be sure to return in the afternoon for wine and nibbles at no additional charge. Children of all ages are welcome, although cots are not available. Dewey Cottage is open seasonally from May through October. Transportation is not provided to The 1661 Inn for breakfast or wine and nibbles.
