The Wanton-Lyman-Hazard House is now known as the Edward W. Kane and Martha J. Wallace Center for Black History, located at 17 Broadway in Newport. The center is Open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning June 19, 2026. The Center is located across the street from Charter Books at 17 Broadway, Newport. The main entrance on Stone Street is ADA accessible, featuring a ramp into the center. The exhibit space is all on the first floor as well. Admission tickets are Free for NHS Members, $14 for adults, and $8 for youth (Free for children 5 and under).
