Flaherty Charters departs from scenic Castle Hill Inn and Resort 590 Ocean ave, Newport R.I. and the fishing grounds are only 5 minutes away from our dock. Charter info: Capt.Tim Flaherty, Newport native, has been fishing these water for over 35 years. A former high school and college history teacher, the Capt. will share the bays rich maritime history and lore. We specialize in light tackle live or fresh bait fishing, local reefs, wrecks and rips .Our success rate has been 99.2 per cent for the last four years.We can accommodate up to six anglers and there will be a experienced young mate on board to serve you.
