Come explore Mercy Woods – Cumberland Land Trust’s newly conserved 229-acre property on the east side of Wrentham Road/Route 121 and just south of the RI-MA line. Seven well-marked trails (about 6 miles total) take you past wetlands, through woods and fields. Enjoy the early 18th century agricultural setting of stone walls and rock piles and take in a view of Cumberland Reservoir from rocky ridges. Mercy Woods surrounds an administration building and health center of the Northeast Community of the Sisters of Mercy, former owner of the conservation land. A 2-mile and a 4-mile guided trail walk will be offered by members of the Cumberland Land Trust.
