Your tour will begin with pick up directly from your hotel in Newport or downtown Providence. Next, you’ll step back in time to the turn of the 20th century as we take you through the stunning Gilded Age mansions, “The Breakers” and “The Elms”, both of which initially served as summer homes for America’s wealthiest families. You will marvel at the intricate European-inspired architecture and decor and learn about the families who once lived there.
Your next stop is a relaxing boat ride aboard the Gansett Cruises Harbor Tour as the day begins to fade into evening. The timing couldn’t be more perfect as the heat of the day begins to cool with a calming breeze.
