Hours of operation include, weather permitting: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday TBD Monday & Thursday TBD Pool closures are announced on the Pawtucket Parks and Recreation Facebook page. Admission is $1 and is open to residents and non-residents of Pawtucket. Free lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:45 am – 1 pm and must be consumed on the property to those individuals who are 18 years of age or younger. |
The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for maintaining the Mineral Spring Avenue Cemetery, and all parks and recreational facilities, athletic complexes, traffic islands, playgrounds and passive parks and gateways from I-95, in the city. They operate the Daggett Farm and Looff Carousel in Slater Park, and the Veterans Park pool. They also provide picnic permits, concerts, sports lessons and leagues, the Tree in Memorial Program, birthday parties at the Looff Carousel, bus trips, a variety of classes, various festivals, a youth summer camp and other programs.
