Save The Bay Ultimate Lighthouse Tours

June-October: Join Save the Bay for a day of exploring the lighthouses of Narragansett Bay the way they were intended to be viewed - from the water. Sail down the West Passage to Newport and return home via the East Passage, viewing more than a dozen active and inactive lighthouses. A tour of historic Rose Island Lighthouse is included. Lunch and binoculars are provided. Tours run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on select Saturdays. Tours depart from Save the Bay Center, 100 Save the Bay Dr., Providence. Rhode Island Bay Lighthouse Cruises & Newport Harbor Tours

May-October: A one-hour-and-40-minute narrated tour of Narragansett Bay featuring 10 lighthouses. Other sights include 10 islands, sailing under the Jamestown and Newport Bridges, passing by historic Fort Adams, Hammersmith Farm and Castle Hill and through famous Newport Harbor filled with sailboats and yachts. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made online or over the phone. Adults $30, Seniors (60+) $28, Children (2-12) $16, Infants are free. Group rates are available.
