Step back into Newport's 18th century Golden Age, the era before the American Revolution. Built in 1748, this Georgian Colonial house was the home of a merchant, ship owner, and colonial deputy, and later became the Revolutionary War headquarters of the French Navy. You'll see a great collection of exquisite colonial furniture, created by legendary Newport craftsmen. Open seasonally, late May to Labor Day.
