Tour Blackstone Valley – There’s No Place Like Home
Organizers have the right to cancel a tour if a minimum of participants is not met.
Did you know the “Sistine Chapel of North America” is right here in the Blackstone Valley? Or that the oldest continuously operating general store is just a short ride off one of our most well traveled highways? The first planned community is here, too, as well as rare “stone enders,” an old fashioned penny arcade and a genuine Looff Carousel. There’s so much that’s fascinating and fun to see, experience and do! From traditional May breakfasts to working farms, historic mills and the Manor homes of an earlier time. Our unique heritage, the arts, architecture, cuisine and culture are the highlights and focal points of this day of discovery. Come join us as we visit off-the-beaten-track treasures that will delight, intrigue and engage.
Tour Blackstone Valley - There’s No Place Like Home is an opportunity for Rhode Islanders to discover the northernmost part of their own home state. Take a look at the six themed itineraries that follow. Each reflects a specialty of the region, covering every corner of the Blackstone Valley.
