Land Trust Days Celebration

The Rhode Island Land Trust Council (RILTC) will host a free, public celebration on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Guild Brewery, 461 Main St., Pawtucket, to celebrate Land Trust Days, the organization's two-month series of outdoor events held across the state from Aug. 28 through Oct. 25.

According to the organization, Land Trust Days is an opportunity for people to connect with Rhode Island’s land trusts and the open spaces they protect.

Officials say the Oct. 8 event will give thanks to the many volunteers and organizations that make the program possible. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about RILTC's mission, sign up to volunteer with a local land trust, and support the organization's conservation efforts through donations.

According to organizers, the event, which is free and open to the public, coincides with The Guild Brewery's Pints for Purpose, featuring a beer specially brewed in honor of RILTC and Land Trust Days, with proceeds from its sale benefiting the organization's conservation work.
