Kennedy Plaza is Providence's main public transit center. From there, you can make connections to RIPTA routes or Peter Pan buses to travel anywhere in the state. If you need to go to Green (PVD) Airport, you can take routes 1, 14 or 20 from Kennedy Plaza. If you want to head to Newport, you can take route 60 outbound from Kennedy Plaza. Once in Newport, routes 63, 64, 67 or the 231 South Aquidneck Flex will take you around the City by the Sea. You can't get to Block Island by bus, but you can get to the Block Island Ferry by bus! Take route 66 outbound  from Kennedy Plaza to the Galilee State Pier. By the way, taking the bus doesn't mean leaving your bike behind. You can rack-n-ride on any RIPTA bus - and your bike rides for free!
