The 2020 Rhode Island Seafood Festival will not be a festival or organized event, but an area on India Street in Providence where seafood trucks/trailers will be setup to sell food for pickup and to-go orders only. If you choose to take your food and picnic in the park we urge everyone to pick up your trash, wear a mask when you’re not eating, and maintain social distance from others picnicking.
Food trucks will be located on India Street west of the I-195 walking bridge.
It is our mission to bring you seafood lovers and the amazing restaurants who serve you together, but it is our responsibility to keep all parties safe from the threat of COVID-19. The solution we have come up with is to create a “to-go” area on India Street. The vendors that have the required licensing and ability to serve from the street, in accordance with the Board of Health, will be set up on India Street outside of India Point Park. You can place orders for your favorite seafood from these vendors ahead of time through a link we will provide, or you can come down to India Street and place your orders from the trucks on the street.
Regardless of whether you choose to place your order ahead of time or at the window, everyone will need to be wearing a mask and social distancing or they will not be served.
