Named “Best Apple Cider in New England” by Yankee Magazine, Appleland Orchards is both a local favorite and the winner of many regional taste tests. The small family farm, run by Joseph and Mary Lou D’Andrea sells fresh-picked apples, pears, and peaches and homemade specialties. They press cider, bake pies and cakes, preserve jams and jellies, and decorate enormous chocolate-covered apples, which fly off the shelves during the holiday season. They also age their award-winning cider to produce apple cider vinegar and apple wine.
