Baby Beach
This is the beach that locals want to keep secret – a well-sheltered beach with gentler waves and less rocks than the rest of Crescent Beach, but easy access for parents needing to lug a ton of kid and baby gear. Just south of Fred Benson Town Beach, it’s not as crowded, but is still an easy walk to the pavilion. Access path is not well-marked (it’s directly across from where Beach Avenue meets Corn Neck Road) and there is no parking lot (you’ll have to park on-street), so the folks you’ll meet may well be locals. With calm, shallow water, it’s the best place for babies and young children.
