The Burrillville Historical & Preservation Society has opened the Bridgeton Schoolhouse, a museum filled with Burrillville memorabilia and historic items.
Items include a collection of postcards and maps, including an original George Matteson map of Burrillville, historic jewelry, mill items, including bobbins, clothing, and other small items, children’s gas masks, Victorian furniture, “lung balls” from the treatment of tuberculosis, there’s also a large collection of arrowheads, you will witness how an old Edison phonograph was played and its collection of phonograph recordings.
