Cara is the perfect setting for a culinary experience truly unique from any other in New England. Two unique menus will be offered daily by Chef Jacob Jasinski and his team. We rely on the best products to provide a foundation for the techniques that highlight each ingredient and the chef's global influence. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean grace the room allowing ample natural light in early evening while soft lighting and the use of warm, neutral colors adds to the ambiance after sunset.
The 6-course surprise Degustation Menu features a selection of chef's signature dishes. During the summer season, the menu would include foods such as foie gras, caviar, wagyu beef, Bluefin tuna, dry aged duck, lamb, and uni. During the winter season, the menu would include foods such as venison, squab, and exotic shellfish. If you like to explore all kinds of food and be at the whim of the chef, this experience would be a wonderful option.
If you have dietary restrictions or follow a vegetarian or vegan diet, we recommend our 3-course Prix Fixe seating at 5:30 pm or dinner in The Café.
For vegetarian /vegan diets, a 48 hour notice will be required for the 5:30 pm seating.
Cara Menu For 5:30 PM Seating
Dinner: Wednesday - Sunday
Seating 1: 5:30 pm with a 3-course Prix Fixe Menu ($105 per guest plus tax)
Seating 2: 8:15 pm with a 6-course surprise Degustation Menu ($180 per guest plus tax)
The 8:15pm seating is conducted as a socially-distanced group experience where all guests will be seated at the same time, the room will be addressed as a group, but each party will have their own table so that you may engage as little or as much as you would like.
Cancellation: Due to the intimate size of the restaurant, we require prepayment of the dinner and a 20% service charge on the dinner charge which is fully refundable up to 72 hours prior to the reservation time if cancelled.
