You'll find west of Steere Hill is Heritage Park. You'll find walking trails along with cross country skiing with trails of up to one and a half miles in length circling the park. Parents will love the short hike, about 1.75 miles, perfect for young children. The trail is overflowing with wildlife. Along the trail are bird feeders, picnic tables, a play area and a Shepherd's Hut, a reproduction of huts used a long time ago.
