Layali Café

Layali Café is bringing the familiar flavors of Syrian food and culture to the local community. At Layali Café the menu features sweet pastries including halawet jibn, baklava, and warbat, as well as savory options such as za’atar pie, fattoush salad, and labneh and olive pie. Drinks range from fresh-made mocktails and Syrian teas to lattes, Turkish coffee, milkshakes, and smoothies. Customer favorites include crepes filled with fruit, candy, and nuts; crispy yet fluffy waffles piled high with toppings; and the café’s signature dessert, the Layali Fruit Salad – a layered creation of ice cream, cream, chocolate, Oreos, Kit Kats, mangoes, bananas, berries, kiwi, pineapple, apple, honey, and nuts. Layali Café wants everyone to know they’re welcome there, they’re happy to serve you, and they're proud to be part of the Lincoln community. After all, in Syria, sharing food is how you show love.
