The Mowry Conservation Area is a beautiful 27 acre park in Smithfield RI.
The trail Head is located on Old Forge Road between Farnum Pike (Route 104) and Log Road just north of Stump Pond. Parking is across the street from the trail sign. The entrance to this park is the most magnificent part of the park, with a beautiful rock ledge overhanging a lively stream and scenic footbridge.
There are two marked trails, a shorter red trail of about .5 mile, and an approximately one mile yellow trail. Across the bridge and to the right there are picnic tables. Nature lovers will enjoy the symphony of the forest as it is overflowing with the sounds of wildlife.
