Step inside Pan D Bono Bakery and you’ll find what a Colombian bakery should smell like at 7:00 AM — warm cheese bread out of the oven, fresh-pulled espresso, and the sound of a family at work. They’re a small, family-run bakery serving the Colombian and Latin American community across Rhode Island with traditional breads, pastries, and savory snacks made the way they’ve always been made — by hand, from scratch, every single day.
Their pandebono is soft, cheesy, and baked fresh, almojábanas come out warm and pillowy, buñuelos are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, their empanadas are golden, crunchy, and filled with seasoned beef or chicken.
If they wouldn't serve it to their family, it doesn't go out.
