Peter Pots Pottery has been a Rhode Island institution for 70 years. Started at the Rhode Island School of Design in 1948, during the vanguard of the American art pottery movement, we have been handcrafting and selling functional stoneware in our historic South County mill since 1954. In addition to our own pottery, we sell a hand-selected collection of antiques, art, and local goods.
Each piece of our high-fired stoneware is crafted one-at-a-time from sculpted molds and glazed by hand in shaded colors that delight the eye and compliment your food. Set your table for special occasions or find everyday luxury with our museum-quality* pottery. All of our pottery is lead-free and dishwasher safe.
* Peter Pots Pottery is shown in the Syracuse Museum (High-fired Pottery Prize), the Museum of Modern Art, the Wichita Museum, and the RISD Museum (combined with Gorham Silver).
