Open year round, the farm offers something delicious and fun for every season. During the summer, the farmstand is stocked with strawberries, blueberries, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, and squash. And each September and October, visitors can take wagon rides and say hello to the chickens and goats. Phantom Farm grows over 15 varieties of apples, including two varieties highly sought after in farmer’s markets—Macoun and Honeycrisp.
After apple picking, visit the lovely café, bakery, and country store, which radiates cozy and delicious. The smells of freshly brewed coffee, sizzling butter, and steamy caramelized apples greet the visitors. The bakery has made quite a name for itself; its pumpkin mousse roll was featured on Food Network, and its apple, blueberry, and French meat pies are well-known favorites with the locals. Sit down in the cozy dining area, maybe even sip a coffee and chat, and you’ll feel like you’re one of the locals.
