It is a popular spot for fishing, paddling, and walking; Nicholas Farm Management Area is .5 miles and a 5 minute walk with 1,429 acres along the Moosup River containing beautiful hiking trails; Trestle Trail and Coventry Greenway are .5 miles and a 5 minute walk. If you are looking for a quick but delicious bite Weideles Pizza is a short 1.3 miles or a 3 minute drive with a general store and liquor store next door. Not too far are Maxwell Mays Audubon Refuge which is 6.9 miles away, about a 12 minute drive. Nickle Creek Vineyard and Leyden Farm Vineyard are both about a 15 minute drive.
