Plum Beach Lighthouse
- Plum Beach Point, North Kingstown, RI 02852
- South County
This 54' lighthouse, built in 1897, is located off Plum Beach Point. Survivor of the 1938 hurricane, the lighthouse was made obsolete by the Jamestown Bridge in 1941 and vandals and birds took over. In 2004, the Friends of the Plum Beach Lighthouse celebrated the complete restoration.
The lighthouse is not open to the public. It can be seen as you drive over the Jamestown Bridge and is best viewed by boat.
