Red Ginger is a traditional Chinese restaurant and bar that has nestled itself in the heart of Johnston, Rhode Island for the past 15 years. Since the restaurant has opened it’s doors, we have been improving it ever since. With a relaxed environment fit for families and large parties, we have created a main dining room seating 50 guests and more intimate bar seating. The food at Red Ginger is traditional as the people preparing it. Using only the freshest ingredients supplied daily to our restaurant, our dishes are made to order by Cantonese cuisine trained chefs that have been with us for many years. While we do prepare the popular American inspired Chinese food, many of our guests by now know of our “pink” menu, or our traditional Cantonese menu. We offer many varieties of wine and beer, but our drinks list is inspired by traditional cocktails with an Asian twist. We celebrate a classic martini as much as we do a Scorpion Bowl! Many of our staff come from family and also considered a part of our greater family.
