Sakonnet Vineyard
Sakonnet Vineyard spans 169 acres in Little Compton, Rhode Island, with more than 30 acres dedicated to producing award-winning wines. Planted in 1975, Sakonnet is the oldest vineyard in the region and has played a significant role in the developing wine industry.
Southeastern New England is influenced by a short growing season that yields wines with softness and finesse, balanced acidity, and bright fruit flavors. One of the key benefits of the local climate is that wines have excellent aging potential. The team at Sakonnet is dedicated to producing high-quality wines that showcase the region's special character through careful vineyard management and patience.
