The Center for Wine and Culinary Arts at Ocean House is one of the top culinary and wine schools in the country. Groups and individuals of all ages can enjoy unique and engaging experiences including interactive learning, educational classes, receptions, wine dinners, private chef events, and memorable experiences.
Guests can enjoy the Center’s 3,000-square-foot education and entertaining space, which provides an inspiring atmosphere for culinary and wine activities. The Center draws inspiration from an early 1800s barn, from which various parts, including its wide plank walls, flooring, and post-and-beam structures were reassembled to create a venue with historic charm and top-of-the-line technology. The Gaggenau Demonstration Kitchen in the Center features top-of-the-line appliances that will light a culinary fire in many interest and topic areas, ranging from appetizers to desserts. For wine lovers, the Center is the home of Ocean House’s 8,000-bottle Wine Spectator award-winning collection, showcased in two spectacular library cellars. For larger events, CWCA culinary or wine activities are held in Ocean House and Weekapaug Inn indoor and outdoor spaces, selected to specifically fit the needs of the group.
