West Beach
While not great for swimmers and a bit rocky for laying on the beach, West Beach is very secluded and gorgeous at sunset, when the sun slides right into the water. You can also head north on West Beach, and walk all the way to the charming North Lighthouse -- it’s a good place to look for Glass Floats, and an excellent place for sea glass hunting. To get to West Beach, around 3.5 miles down Corn Neck Road on the left, look for signs for the Transfer Station. Take the Transfer Station dirt road all the way to the end, and you’ll find a small parking area. No mopeds on the dirt road.
