Bikeway Ambassador Ride
Meet at the Captain Wilbur Kelly House.
Landmarks: This ride will include interpretive stops to discuss the Captain Wilbur Kelly House Transportation Museum, Pratt Dam, and the Ann & Hope Mill. There will be historic photos passed around so riders can see how the areas have changed since the 1930’s.
The route is 7 miles round trip on easy, flat, paved terrain.

Essentials of Biking in the Blackstone River Valley
- Always bring water
- If low blood sugar, bring OJ or other sugary snack/drink
- Bring an easy snack for energy, like a granola bar, apple, or banana
- Always wear sturdy shoes with good grips
- Ensure your bike is tuned
- Wear/pack sun protection – sunscreen, long sleeves, hat, etc.
- Dress for the weather / in layers
- When in season, pack bug spray
