Artists Cooperative Gallery of Westerly July Show 'Land and Sea'

On view from July 1 to August 2; Opening Reception July 3rd from 5-8
The members of the Artists' Cooperative Gallery of Westerly will celebrate the height of the season with July’s show “Land and Seascapes.” The Gallery will be filled with a show of new work by more than 50 members in a variety of mediums including paintings, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, photography, fabric art, glass, and more. The works of member artists Helen Roy, painter and Ed Porter, photographer will be featured in the main gallery.
ACGOW member Mimi Huzner Fagnant, will be presenting a demonstration of her lampwork bead making process during the July opening reception. Ms. Fagnant’s delicately intricate beads feature prominently in her popular line of handcrafted jewelry.
ART HEIST
On Saturday, August 22, ACGOW will host its annual fundraising gala, The Art Heist. Tickets for the popular event are now on sale at the gallery. Prices are $150 for a ticket admitting two people to enjoy a wide selection of foods and beverages as well as live music and the guaranteed opportunity to ‘heist’ a work of art worth at least $250; and $40 for a ticket admitting one person without the opportunity to heist art.
