Music at the Farm - Student Showcase

Music at the Farm will present a mini concert on Sunday, June 14, at 1 p.m., prior to the main artist at 2 p.m., featuring North Smithfield High School students Louis Garneau on flute and Adam Harrison on clarinet, at Grace Note Farm, 969 Jackson Schoolhouse Road, Pascoag. Garneau will perform the “Gane Andante” and “Scherzo,” and Harrison will play “Alla Polacca” from Weber’s second clarinet concerto.

Both Garneau and Harrison are juniors at North Smithfield High School, where they have participated in their school’s music programs as well as the R.I. All-State Festival, where Harrison was principal clarinet in the orchestra. They also participated in the recent Rhode Island Solo and Ensemble Festival. At the end of June, both students will travel to the Netherlands, Belgium and France performing with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Wind Ensemble.
