Oliver Hazard Perry Lecture and Tour

Oliver Hazard Perry was an important Naval officer whose heroic actions helped the United Sates win the War of 1812. The Perrys were the county’s most important naval family with deep Rhode Island and Newport connections. The event will start in the Belmont chapel with a lecture about Perry and his career. At the conclusion of the lecture his gravesite and those of family members will be visited.
